Day 1: Tokyo – The City of the Future

Morning: Miraikan (National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation). Hands-on exhibits with ASIMO the robot and explorations into space and DNA.

Afternoon: TeamLab Borderless (Odaiba). An immersive, digital art museum where kids can interact with the exhibits and learn about the intersection of technology and art.

Evening: Odaiba Marine Park. A walk to see the life-sized Unicorn Gundam Statue and learn about Japan’s “Mecha” culture.


Day 2: Tokyo – Pop Culture & Heritage

Morning: Meiji Jingu Shrine. A lesson on Shintoism and Japanese history. Students can participate in writing Ema (wooden wish plaques).

Afternoon: Harajuku & Shibuya. Explore the famous Shibuya Crossing. A guided “scavenger hunt” in Harajuku to find the most unique Japanese snacks (like rainbow cotton candy or Harajuku crepes).

Evening: Ghibli Museum (Mitaka). Step into the world of Hayao Miyazaki to learn the physics and art behind traditional hand-drawn animation.
Day 3: Tokyo to Kyoto – The Bullet Train Experience

Morning: Shinkansen Journey. Experience the 320km/h “Bullet Train.” Students will learn about the engineering marvel of Japan’s rail system.

Afternoon: Fushimi Inari-taisha. Hike through the thousands of vermilion torii gates. This serves as a physical challenge and a lesson in Japanese folklore.

Evening: Gion District. A quiet walking tour to observe traditional architecture and learn about the history of the Geisha and Maiko.
